Pleasure and Hatred (Lot 1085) has something to do with martial arts from its name. At the beginning of 2000, Wei Jia was interested in martial arts films such as 'Crouching Tiger, hidden dragon'. Martial arts are people in the Jianghu and society. Some are heroes and some want to be heroes. They are all forms of society and life. In this picture of Pleasure and Hatred (Lot 1085), the focus of the picture is particularly strong, with two huge audiences on the left and a particularly light swordsman on the right. The swordsman came down from the sky, wearing a transparent raincoat. Of course, he tried to protect himself. He jumped like a diver, holding a sword in his hand, and lightning flashed across the horizon. This scene, the performance of the performers, at the same time, is a little absurd, like a microcosm of the scene in the real world, which is both real and magical. The audience on the left, their expressions reveal their inner thoughts.
